Collaboration with Ubaya

TexCycle tries to collaborate with the education sector, which is the main foundation of the young generation which is still in the process of developing. In order to raise awareness of sustainability, the student education sector was chosen as an example that is able to provide real action and examples in implementing a circular economy by collaborating with existing relationships so that it can disseminate it to the general public.

Students who are currently studying sustainability theory now have the opportunity to go directly into the field. TexCycle collaborates with the University of Surabaya (Ubaya) to support the reduction of textile waste and the implementation of a circular economy with the support of students from the Faculty of Business and Economics. Unused clothing is collected periodically to be recycled so that it can be reused into new functional products.
